In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Fairview Tigers baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Northwestern Wildcats.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Edgewood was overwhelmed by West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 14-9, in a non-league game.

Next, the Wildcats play the Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 10. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Titusville (Titusville, PA).
