In Wednesday's league game, the host Sodus Spartans baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Williamson Marauders.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Blue Panthers go into the Section 5 Wayne County game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Gananda Central nudged Lyons (Lyons, NY), 23-0, in a league game.

Next, the Marauders play the Red Creek Rams (Red Creek, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County game, on Friday, April 11. Williamson will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 15-1 league win over Marion (Marion, NY).
