April 9, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80906 The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) lacrosse nudged the visiting Fountain Valley Danes (Colorado Springs, CO), 1-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Red-Tailed Hawks now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponderosa for a 4A Southern outing on Friday, April 11. Cheyenne Mountain will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Fountain Valley falls to 0-2 on the year. The Danes travel to Rangeview (Aurora, CO) to face the Raiders in a 4A Southern outing on Friday, April 11. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Rangeview lost 18-5 in their recent league outing against Lutheran (Parker, CO)
