Alabama High School Softball - Hillcrest bounces Monroe County
April 9, 2025: Monroeville, AL 36460 The Hillcrest Jaguars softball team scored 31 runs and held the host Monroe County Tigers to 13 in the Jaguars league win on Wednesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excel for a 3A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Hillcrest will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-13.
With the loss, Monroe County moves to 3-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Escambia County (Atmore, AL) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Escambia County lost 16-0 in their recent league battle against W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL)
