April 9, 2025: Sparta, NJ 07871 The Sparta Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Morris Knolls Golden Eagles to 4 in the Spartans league win on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Morris Mendham for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. Sparta will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 9-3 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Morris Knolls moves to 1-3 on the season. The Golden eagles host Montville (Montville, NJ) to confront the Mustangs in a NJAC - American battle on Saturday, April 12. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Montville won 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against West Milford (West Milford, NJ)
