Illinois High School Softball - Yorkville Christian can't get by Timothy Christian
April 9, 2025: Elmhurst, IL 60126 Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL), 8-7 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Timothy Christian upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Trojans host Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to play the Fightin' Irish in a Chicagoland Christian game on Thursday, April 10. The Fightin' Irish enter the game with a record of 3-3. Bishop McNamara won 15-0 in their recent league game against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL)
The Mustangs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bede for a non-league game on Friday, April 11. Yorkville Christian will play a Bruins squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Woodland (Streator, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 7-1.
