In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Chaminade Eagles baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Valencia Vikings.

The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA). The Warriors enter the Mission game with a 13-4 record. In their last game, Bishop Alemany held off Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV), 8-7, in a non-league game.

Next, the Vikings face the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill game, on Wednesday, April 15. Valencia will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 12-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Camarillo (Camarillo, CA).
