Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Wallenpaupack Area defeats North Pocono

April 9, 2026: Covington Township, PA 18444

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) and the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), saw Wallenpaupack Area's baseball team gain a win over North Pocono by a tally of 9-2.

The Buckhorns (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets enter the Lackawanna 1 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Abington Heights held off West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 8-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 11. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Colonials enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 5-4 league win over Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA).
