The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Northwood Chargers to 1 in the Fighting Red Wolves non-league win on Thursday.

The Fighting Red Wolves now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange for a Big Seven 4A/5A battle on Friday, April 10. Cedar Ridge will confront a Panthers team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Northwood moves to 10-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Cougars in a Four Rivers 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 14. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 12-3. Southwestern Randolph won 4-3 in their recent non-league battle against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC)
