The Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) softball routed the host Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN), 12-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Recovery for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 11. Jay County will encounter a Indians team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH). The Indians record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Delta moves to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles host New Castle (New Castle, IN) to encounter the Trojans in a Hoosier Heritage outing on Monday, April 13.
