In Thursday's league test, the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 16-4.

Next, the Demons meet the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a 3A District 4/5 test, on Tuesday, April 14. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 7-11 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).

The Sundevils (15-4) will now prepare for their test against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves go into the 3A District 4/5 test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, East Mountain was routed by Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM), 25-4, in a league test.
