South County The Stallion (Lorton, VA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 22-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, South County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The The Stallion travel to West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a Patriot game on Tuesday, April 14. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 5-3. West Springfield won 12-4 in their recent league game against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA)

The Lions now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Centreville for a non-league game on Monday, April 13. Fairfax will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
