The Houston County Fighting Irish triumphed over the host McKenzie Rebels softball squad by a count of 15-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Irish play the White House-Heritage Patriots (White House, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 11. Houston County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Portland (Portland, TN).
