The Teays Valley Vikings triumphed over the visiting Newark Wildcats softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 11. Teays Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 16-5 league win over New Lexington (New Lexington, OH).
