May 1, 2023: New Bedford, MA 02740 The Durfee Hilltoppers baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host New Bedford Whalers to 2 in the Hilltoppers league victory on Monday.
The Hilltoppers (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Dartmouth edged Brockton (Brockton, MA), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Whalers (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Barnstable (Hyannis, MA). The Red Hawks go into the non-league match with a 8-3 record.
