Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Perkiomen Valley upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Vikings host Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to battle the Phantoms in a Pioneer test on Wednesday, May 3. The Phantoms come into the test with a record of 10-4. Phoenixville won 14-0 in their recent league test against Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA)

With the defeat, Norristown falls to 3-12 on the season. The Eagles host Pottstown (Pottstown, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Pioneer test on Tuesday, May 2. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-12. Pottstown lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA)
