May 1, 2023: Monmouth, IL 61462 Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL), 7-6 in a league test.
With the win, Orion upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Fulton (Fulton, IL) to battle the Steamers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 3. The Steamers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fulton lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)
With the defeat, Monmouth-Roseville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Orion (Orion, IL) to play the Chargers in a battle on Thursday, May 4. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 14-4. Orion won 16-4 in their recent non-league battle against Fulton (Fulton, IL)
