Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 24-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schulenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Refugio will face a Shorthorns squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Charlotte (Charlotte, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Freer falls to 13-8 on the campaign.
