Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME), 8-4 in a league test.

With the win, Central Aroostook upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Washburn (Washburn, ME) to battle the Beavers in a Class D North test on Friday, May 3. The Beavers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Washburn lost 9-3 in their recent league battle against Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME)
