Virginia High School Soccer - Arcadia nudges Chincoteague
May 1, 2024: Chincoteague, VA 23336 Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Firebirds confront the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Monday, May 6. Arcadia will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Nandua (Onley, VA).
The Ponies now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nandua for a Eastern Shore challenge on Monday, May 6. Chincoteague will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.
