Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN), 4-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Blue River Valley advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. The Lions come into the match with a record of 1-8. Liberty Christian lost 17-3 in their recent league match against Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN)

The Warriors now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peru for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Wes-Del will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
