Texas High School Baseball - Travis loses to Davenport
May 1, 2025: Austin, TX 78704 Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Travis Rebels (Austin, TX), 17-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Davenport advances its record to 21-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to La Vernia (La Vernia, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, May 8. The Bears come into the match with a record of 21-8. La Vernia won 16-3 in their recent non-league match against Somerset (Somerset, TX)
The Rebels now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon Lake for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Travis will battle a squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Eastside Early College (Austin, TX). The record now stands at 25-11.
