The Plainfield Quakers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Decatur Central Hawks to 2 in the Quakers league win on Thursday.

The Quakers now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center Grove for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Plainfield will play a Trojans team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Carmel (Carmel, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 15-2.

With the defeat, Decatur Central drops to 8-6 on the year. The Hawks host Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 7-4. Brownsburg lost 9-6 in their recent league test against Avon (Avon, IN)
