The Hopewell Blue Devils baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Dinwiddie Generals to 4 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now hold a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Surry County for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Hopewell will play a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 league win over Sussex Central (Sussex, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-1.
