Hanover Nighthawks (Hanover, PA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host York Catholic Fighting Irish (York, PA), 8-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Hanover advances its record to 8-12 on the season.

The Fighting Irish now have a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. York Catholic will battle a Shamrocks squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA). The Shamrocks record now stands at 11-3.
