Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), 4-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Poly advances its record to 18-6 on the season. The Parrots travel to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to battle the Dons in a Valley Mission match on Monday, May 5. The Dons come into the match with a record of 10-14. Verdugo Hills won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Bell (Bell, CA)

The Spartans now have a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palisades for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Sylmar will battle a Dolphins squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA). The Dolphins record now stands at 15-9.
