In Thursday's league match, the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Miners battle the Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) in a 6A Region 2 match, on Friday, May 2. Bingham will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record. The Grizzlies enter the match with a 12-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Riverton (Riverton, UT).

The Chargers (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Sentinels enter the 6A Region 2 match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Mountain Ridge was outscored by Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 3-2, in a league match.
