Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE), 9-8 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lincoln Southwest advances its record to 5-10 on the season.

The Knights now have a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fremont for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Lincoln Southeast will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
