Missouri High School Soccer - Platte County knocks off Chrisman
May 1, 2025: Platte City, MO 64079 The Platte County Pirates soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Chrisman Bears to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now hold a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Smithville for a Class 3 District 8 bout on Monday, May 5. Platte County will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Chrisman moves to 4-11 on the year. The Bears travel to Raytown (Raytown, MO) to encounter the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 6. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Raytown lost 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Truman (Independence, MO)
