In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Virginia High Bearcats baseball team scored a close 12-8 win over the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes.

The Bearcats (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record.
