May 1, 2025: Washington, IA 52353 Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Washington Demons (Washington, IA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant moves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Southeast test on Monday, May 5. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Demons now sport a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a Southeast test on Monday, May 5. Washington will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-4.
