The University Prep Jaguars softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Big Bear Bears to 1 in the Jaguars league win on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adelanto for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. University Prep will confront a Saints team coming off a 9-5 league win over Victor Valley (Victorville, CA). The Saints record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Big Bear moves to 8-11 on the season. The Bears host Southlands Christian (Rowland Heights, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 16-8.
