May 1, 2025: Upper Glade, WV 26206 The Calhoun Red Devils triumphed over the host Webster County Highlanders softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils meet the Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY).
The Highlanders (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-21 record. In their last challenge, Braxton County was routed by Doddridge County (West Union, WV), 20-0, in a league challenge.
