New York High School Softball - Carthage bounces Watertown
May 1, 2025: Watertown, NY 13601 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Carthage Comets softball team scored a nice 16-7 win over the Watertown Cyclones.
The Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Proctor (Utica, NY). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Proctor was routed by Whitesboro (Marcy, NY), 11-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cyclones confront the Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier A match, on Saturday, May 3. Watertown will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 8-3 non-league win over South Lewis (Turin, NY).
