The Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) baseball trounced the host Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA), 10-3 in Friday's league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakefield Memorial for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Reading Memorial will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, Arlington drops to 10-4 on the year. The Spy ponders travel to Melrose (Melrose, MA) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 5. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Melrose lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA)
