The Hamilton Braves baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Biggs Wolverines to 1 in the Braves league win on Friday.

The Braves now hold a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they host Maxwell for a Mid-Valley test on Tuesday, May 5. Hamilton will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 17-7.

With the defeat, Biggs drops to 17-5 on the year. The Wolverines host Portola (Portola, CA) to play the Tigers in a Mid-Valley test on Tuesday, May 5. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-15. Portola won 15-4 in their recent non-league test against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV)
