In Friday's league bout, the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), by a tally of 15-5.

Next up, the Grizzlies encounter the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a Northern bout, on Tuesday, May 5. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 17-5 record after their 3-2 league win over University Prep (Redding, CA).

The Falcons (11-11) will now prepare for their bout against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners enter the Northern bout with a 6-18 record. In their last bout, Yreka overcame Anderson (Anderson, CA), 14-4, in a league bout.
