The Fairfield Mules baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Hamilton County Foxes to 4 in the Mules league win on Friday.

The Mules now hold a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Harrisburg for a non-league test on Monday, May 4. Fairfield will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-3.

With the defeat, Hamilton County drops to 5-13 on the year. The Foxes travel to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Black Diamond East test on Tuesday, May 5. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-16. Carmi-White County lost 6-2 in their recent league test against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL)
