Knox Redskins (Knox, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN), 1-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Knox improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Redskins host Northwestern (Kokomo, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 6-4. Northwestern won 13-7 in their recent league game against Southwood (Wabash, IN)

The Vikings now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Jimtown for a Northern State game on Monday, May 4. Tippecanoe Valley will play a Jimmies squad coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Elkhart (Elkhart, IN). The Jimmies record now stands at 8-6.
