Connecticut High School Softball - Immaculate holds off New Milford
May 10, 2021: New Milford, CT 06776 Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), 6-4 in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pomperaug for a Southwest - Patriot challenge on Wednesday, May 12. Immaculate will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.
In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 11. New Milford will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 4-7 record after their 7-6 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).
