New York High School Baseball - Wilson Magnet holds off Monroe
May 10, 2022: Rochester, NY 14607 Wilson Magnet Wildcats (Rochester, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY), 9-5 in a league test.
With the win, Wilson Magnet upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY) to battle the Kings in a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. The Kings come into the test with a record of 2-8. Bishop Kearney won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY)
With the defeat, Monroe falls to 0-6 on the season. The Red jackets host Franklin (Rochester, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a Section 5 Rochester City Catholic test on Friday, May 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-6. Franklin lost 12-2 in their recent league test against School of the Arts (Rochester, NY)
