Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Thunderbolts battle the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Friday, May 13. Cranston East will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 0-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).

With the loss, East Greenwich drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Avengers host North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to battle the Skippers in a State Championship Division match on Thursday, May 12. The Skippers come into the match with a record of 11-2. North Kingstown won 3-0 in their recent league match against Classical (Providence, RI)
