May 10, 2022: Westerly, RI 02891 The Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) lacrosse triumphed over the host Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), 14-5 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Prout upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Crusaders host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to battle the Chargers in a Division 2 outing on Friday, May 13. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 7-5. Chariho won 12-11 in their recent non-league outing against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
With the defeat, Westerly drops to 2-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI) to battle the Scarlet Knights in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 12.
