In Tuesday's league contest, the Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) softball team held off the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Carlmont moves its record to 13-10 on the year. The Scots host Aragon (San Mateo, CA) to play the Dons in a Peninsula - Bay contest on Thursday, May 12. The Dons come into the contest with a record of 15-4. Aragon won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Woodside (Woodside, CA)

In their next game, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS play the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay contest, on Thursday, May 12. Hillsdale will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record.
