May 10, 2023: Beloit, WI 53511 The Beloit Memorial Purple Knights crushed the visiting Madison East Purgolders baseball team by a tally of 10-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Purple Knights now hold a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison La Follette for a Big Eight bout on Thursday, May 11. Beloit Memorial will face a Lancers team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI). The Lancers record now stands at 1-8.
Next, the Purgolders face the Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Friday, May 12. Madison East will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record.
