Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Altoona routed by Carlisle
May 10, 2023: Carlisle, PA 17013 The Carlisle Thundering Herd volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions to 0 in the Thundering Herd league victory on Wednesday.
The Thundering Herd now have a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern York for a Mid-Penn game on Monday, May 15. Carlisle will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 3-1 league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 13-4.
The Mountain Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their game against State College (State College, PA). The Little Lions enter the Mid-Penn game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, State College gained a win over Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA), 3-0, in a league game.
