Virginia High School Soccer - New Kent knocks off King William
May 10, 2023: King William, VA 23086 New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host King William Cavaliers (King William, VA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans face the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Thursday, May 11. New Kent will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 1-1 league Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
The Cavaliers now have a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poquoson for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. King William will face a Islanders team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Islanders record now stands at 5-8.
