May 10, 2023: King, NC 27021 The West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) soccer bounced the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), 7-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the win, West Stokes moves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Morehead (Eden, NC) to battle the Panthers in a Mid-State 2A bout on Thursday, May 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Morehead lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)
In their next game, the Phoenix battle the North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-State 2A bout, on Thursday, May 11. McMichael will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Morehead (Eden, NC).
