In Friday's non-league challenge, the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) baseball squad edged the visiting Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Millard West upgrades its record to 30-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE) to battle the Junior Jays in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Junior Jays come into the challenge with a record of 21-12. Creighton Prep won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)
