Illinois High School Baseball - Maine South loses to Evanston
May 10, 2024: Park Ridge, IL 60068 In Friday's league game, the visiting Evanston Wildkits baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Maine South Hawks.
The Wildkits (19-6) will now prepare for their game against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons go into the non-league game with a 4-17 record. In their last game, Maine East by Niles North (Skokie, IL), 8-5, in a league game.
The Hawks (7-20) will now prepare for their game against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars go into the Central Suburban - North game with a 4-22 record. In their last game, Vernon Hills by Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 13-3, in a league challenge.
